Dune Table Lamp

A rounded urn of a base under a wide parasol shade of fine cord, stretched line by line. The base has the raw, chalky surface of sun-dried clay but is handcrafted paper mache over an iron frame — much lighter than it looks — and it takes a standard bulb. Made for a bedside or console where the shade has room to spread.
